Marta Farina grew up in Belluno, Italy, a small town in the North eastern Italian Alps, where she resides and works today. She completed her art studies at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Venice, Italy in 2002. She did an additional year of studies in the ancient art of fresco painting, under the guide of VICO CALABRò.

Frescos and Murals
- 2006 – The town gymnasium in Farra D’Alpago ( Belluno)
- 2006 – Marta was selected to create a mural to commemorate the 100th birthday of Dino Buzzati, a famous Italian writer and
painter from Belluno.
- 2005 – Marta was one of 20 painters who participated in the “Fairies on the Wall” project which comprised 250 square meters
of frescoes outside of the San Gregorio Nelle Alpi Elementary School - under the direction of the fresco master, Vico Calabrò

- 2008 – Selected for the 26st International Exhibition for Illustration for Children in the Young Illustrator Section at Sarmede,
Treviso, Italy.
- 2006 – First prize for new artists under 30 years of age in the 7th San Valentino Biannual Art Competition for paintings in
Limana (BL), Italy.
- 2005 – Selected for the 6th International Exhibition for Illustration for Children at the “Torino Comix Fair” in Torino, Italy.
- 2004 – Selected for the National Exhibition for Children’s Illustration for the “House of Fantasy” show in Borgomanero,
Novara, Italy.
- 2003 – Selected for the 21st International Exhibition for Illustration for Children in the Young Illustrator Section at Sarmede,
Treviso, Italy.
